Patagonia, also called The End of the World, is still an unknown destination to most. It is not yet thought of as a place most would ponder spending their vacation time, especially if you are looking to get away from it all, be pampered or taken care of in style. You might think of this destination as still being only for the hard core backpacker and rock climbers, where activities are limited to roughing it outdoors and hiking for miles on challenging terrains.

Well it is time you thought differently…

I welcome you to Patagonia, the Quasar Expeditions Way!

Patagonia is on the verge of becoming the new “IT” place; where luxury is interwoven with the stunning outdoors, where the cuisine causes eyes to roll in pleasure and bellies to be satiated in gastronomical delight, and where the local wines offered are some of the best in the world. Discover a place where there are as many activities as there are spa treatments, and where your accommodations are destinations unto themselves; rated 5-star with personalized services and comforts.

Deemed by National Geographic as one of the top 100 places to visit in the world, come experience Patagonia as a perfectly planned, memorable adventure where absolutely no detail is overlooked. Lonely Planet also named Chile as the #1 country to visit in 2018! We, at Quasar, take care of it all for you.

Can I do more than just hike?...

Patagonia offers activities for the most active to the most easy going adventure seeker. Many of the activities and excursions are already included in your trip itinerary, but there are plenty more to choose from if you want to change them or add to the existing ones. Be as busy or as leisurely as you would like. Explore forests, lakes, and ice fields, experience the wildlife, walk around blue lagoons, ice trek, horse back through Torres del Paine or conquer the infamous Base of the Towers on an active and rewarding hike. You can even navigate a glacier by catamaran, kayak, or track the mighty puma. Go fishing, zipline or hang out in an underground ice bar where you can enjoy a frosty drink served, well in ice of course. Whatever you might like to do, see and experience, we have detailed all the activities for you in our Excursions Guide. Just tell us your preferences and we make all the arrangements for you. Narrowing down your choices however might be the hardest thing you will have to do, but we are here to help.

Do we have to stay in tents?...

Not with us! We have chosen for you a list of the most unique accommodations included in your itinerary to suit your personal travel style. After a day of exploring or adventure, relax in our incredible accommodations from 5 star experiences to glamping at posh eco-camps. Enjoy what each Patagonia lodge has to offer including views unmatched to anything you might see on tv, food and wine that will seem never ending , and incredible spas often with infinity pools looking out over the painted landscapes. Choose from our Gold or Silver programs or combine them, to enhance your experience. You may never want to leave!

Am I going to find anything I will like to eat?...

We challenge you not to. Las Comida, (the food) in Patagonia often paired with perfect Argentinian or Chile wines, will delight even the most discerning of palates. With Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners included in most of our itineraries, you can enjoy breakfast feasts and for lunches and dinners imagine divine soups, sandwiches or chupe de centolla (king crab pie), delectable salads served with local fruits or wine dressings, heartier fare such as chicken, beef and cordero al palo (split lamb), local cheeses fresh from the farms enhanced with perhaps a Pisco Sour beverage (no translation except d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s) and seafood such as mussels, clams, ceviche and fish caught just hours ago. There is even a chance to experience a Quincho (Patagonia barbeque) cooked by the gauchos (local cowboys) under the twinkling stars.

Am I in a bus for the Safari?...

Not at all. We outfit you with your own luxury all-terrain vehicle where you can take the wheel and set off exploring the highlights of the parks spanning across 2 countries; Chile and Argentina. Our vehicles are perfect for 1-4, comfortable, and outfitted with the latest navigational equipment, an Ipad loaded with your daily itinerary and interesting local information, a satellite phone and access to our headquarters, just in case you have a question or need assistance at any time. Not feeling so adventurous, no worries we can include with your vehicles one of our knowledgeable guides who will take charge of your trip, show you the ins and outs of the parks and can share the driving when you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the views. Or perhaps one of our All Inclusive Patagonia Programs is more your style, using our hotels as home base and partaking in group guided excursions. How you experience the end of the world is entirely up to you.
