Kayaking in the Galapagos

Quasar Expeditions' cruises provide 2 double, "sit on top" kayaks for our guests to enjoy while on their Galapagos cruise at the kayaking spots designated by the Galapagos National Park. "Sit on top" kayaks, as the name suggests, involve sitting on top of the kayak in an open area. You require no previous experience to enjoy this activity and with a quick 5 minute lesson from your Galapagos naturalist you are off on your own to explore and venture to shores and coves. At our kayaking spots you will be able to see Galapagos penguins, sea lions, blue-footed and nazca boobies, pelicans, marine iguanas and a dozen other magnificent creatures. Not to mention the fact that you will see amazing marine life underneath!

Kayaking in the Galapagos is also a great way to get some exercise while you enjoy the incredible scenery of the Galapagos. The Island's turquoise waters are great to go kayaking on, and because the seas are not rough at all, this activity can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
