The Quasar excursions that follow are available to all participants of our Patagonia Overland Safaris. These day-tours and activities are categorized by difficulty level and duration, and most of them can be enjoyed without any previous experience. We've carefully selected these excursions to ensure you can fully experience Patagonia at your own pace, regardless of your age, physical condition, or any limitations you may have.

Patagonia Excursions - Best Tours in the Patagonian Region
Excursions are categorized by the main regions we visit and are exclusively offered as part of Quasar's Patagonia Safari programs, not available for independent booking.
EXCURSION AVAILABILITY
All excursions in this guide are available up to April 2024. For excursions beyond this date, please inquire with us for availability.
Some excursions are already included in your safari, while others are available for an additional cost. Depending on the day of your Overland Safari, you will have a choice of various excursion options.
LENGTH OF EXCURSIONS
- Half-day Excursions: Offered in the morning and/or afternoon, with lunch either at the hotel or a box lunch in the Park. You are welcome to combine any two half-day excursions for a full day of activities.
- Full-day Excursions: These more immersive experiences start in the morning and last for the entire day. We provide you with a box lunch or picnic lunch, returning to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Many of our Quasar excursions are already included in your Overland Safari itinerary. We have pre-selected the excursions for each day of this itinerary based on our experience throughout the years, and the detailed feedback of our past Guests.
There are many other options to choose from based on your interests and level of activity. They include: kayaking, navigations, fly fishing, horseback riding and more. Many of these specialized activities have an additional cost as they are led by a specialist Guide.
All pricing in this guide is based on two Guests. Please inquire for special pricing for groups of 5 or more.
In the description of each excursion, we list information about additional costs (if any), difficulty level, time required for each excursion, and other important notes.
We have pre-selected the excursions for each day of the itinerary. Please contact us prior to departure to select other excursion options (included or at additional charge). You will need to select and request all excursions no later than 75 days prior to your trip start date. It will not be possible to reserve excursions once in Patagonia as many of them require a prior reservation and are subject to availability.
Certain excursions in this guide are subject to availability, climate conditions and the confirmation of third parties. For this reason, we reserve the right to cancel any of these activities if we feel that they can, in any way, pose a risk to our Guests.
We will try to notify Guests of cancellations as much in advance as possible, but Guests must be aware that in some cases, select excursions can be canceled a day before, or even on the same day of the excursion.
In the case you need to cancel an excursion for any reason other than force majeure, the following terms generally apply (Please check specific excursions for exceptions).
• 46 days or more prior to departure: No cancellation fees apply.
• 45 days or less prior to departure: 100% of the total excursion cost.
