This is a mid-level hike that requires surefootedness and trail spotting abilities. The hike to the Toro Lake viewpoint is one of the most spectacularly beautiful scenic viewpoints available in the national park. Starting from an elevation of 47 meters (154 ft.) above sea level and climbing to the final lookout point at 458 meters (1,503 ft.), you will be rewarded by the vastness of the landscape, the turquoise color of Paine River joining the blue intense of the Toro Lake, with the backscreen of Patagonian Andes and the Paine Range. This half day hike begins at the Paine River, where we leave our vehicles for the start of the hike. Here we begin a steep and rocky ascent to get to the final viewpoint, The trail goes through bushes and low vegetation. The average time to complete the roundtrip trek is 3 to 4 hours.
Restrictions: This tour is not ideal if you suffer from vertigo or fear of heights.
