This is a fairly easy trail, suitable for just about anyone. The trail begins just past the Laguna Azul Camping and Picnic Area and takes you along the shore of the lake towards the Paine Massif. It was at Laguna Azul where Lady Florence Dixie first described her first views of “Cleopatra’s Needles”, today known as the Three Towers. The trail takes anywhere between 1 to 4 hours to complete, depending on how far you go. The trail offers a very enjoyable hike providing a wonderful view of the Towers in the distance and the Blue Lagoon just below. The trail is clearly marked and does not have a change in elevation. If you do the full hike, a wooden information sign will mark the end of the trail and a place to admire the majestic view of the Paine Massif.
