The zip lines of Cerro Frias are located on the southern slopes of the Frias Hill, and zigzag down to the lower part of the valley. After getting fitted with the proper equipment to safely perform the activity (harness, helmet and carabiners), the circuit begins as we ascend on a 4x4 vehicle up to an elevation of 540 meters (1800 ft), where the first platform is located. From there, the descent begins through 5 different cable lines, each of approximately 500 meters long (1600 ft), hung at a maximum altitude of 100 meters (1000 ft) above the ground.
With a total length of 2.5 km (1.5 mi), the Cerro Frias zip line is the longest in South America!
