when booking a 7, 9, or 11-Day Patagonia Overland Safari by Quasar.
This nautical voyage takes us on a three-hour excursion of Grey Lake aboard a motorized catamaran, to witness the majesty of Glacier Gray from up-close. From the deck at Grey beach we will navigate for about 50 minutes to the wall of the Glacier. You can choose to stay inside and watch the spectacle from behind a glass window, or you can also go outside to take photos and enjoy the views and the elements. The main highlight of this ride is passing by the large icebergs calved from Grey Glacier, as well as navigation along the massive face of the Glacier (from a safe distance). The big show happens when large chunks of ice break off from the glacier face and pluge into the lake. After an hour of navigation across the face of the glacer we will head back to the dock at Grey beach.
Important to Note:
• This navigation is subject to weather conditions. The navigation can be cancelled if weather conditions are not good that day. In such instances, we will help you plan a replacement activity while in Patagonia.
• New Park Policy near the glacier, all guests will have a private Argentine escort and van provided to and from their hotel.
