Annual resident in fall in TPNP they from flocks on Toro Lake

Habitat:

lakes, ponds and rivers with currents that are adjacent to forests and shrub zones

Food Habits:

Carnivore

Reproduction:

they nest on the ground and lay 5 to 7 eggs

Observations:

there is no sexual dimorphism, and they are seen in territorial pairs or family groups. They are shy
