Description:
Raptor with an acrobatic flight. They have brown plumage with lighter bands. In the bottom of the wings they can be seen to have darker shades of brown. No apparent sexual dimorphism.

Reproduction:
Nest in colonies or alone; they put 3 eggs hidden among leafy bushes.

Distribution:
From Magallanes to Atacama.

Residence:
All year

Food:
Carnivore, feeds on insects and small vertebrates.

Habitat:
Thickets, fields, swamps and open forest.
