Habitat:
Cosmopolitan, in Chile it lives in various habitats including coast, high Andes, Patagonian steppe and more recently cities. Two forms: a resident breeder and a migrant from the northern hemisphere which is present largely in summer.
Food Habits:
They have been observed nesting in Magallanes region.
Reproduction:
The female is larger than the male (3.5 to 4.3in).
