Dinghy / Panga Rides in the Galapagos

Dinghies, or "Pangas" as they are known in Galapagos, are inflatable zodiacs that serve as the main transportation method from our Galapagos yachts to the visitor sites. At several times during your week-long Galapagos travel adventure, you will have the chance to enjoy dinghy (or panga) rides in shores, mangrove estuaries, coves and caves. This activity is great to photograph Galapagos wildlife on shores and mangrove estuaries.

On Galapagos dinghy rides, we will take you for great opportunities to see whales (such as orcas and humpback whales) as well as dolphins, sun fish and many other large fish and Galapagos mammals. You will also have the opportunity for an excellent dinghy ride on a mangrove estuary where we will turn off the engines and paddle around the mangrove as we look for green sea turtles mating, golden ray schools, sleeping reef sharks and many other wonderful creatures that inhabit these areas.
